PASSWORD REQUIREMENTS

As MVB continues to focus on customer information security, all Online Banking Passwords must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum password length of 8 and maximum length of 12

  • Password will require at least (1) Alpha Character, (1) Numeric Digit and (1) Special Character

  • Passwords cannot be one of 4 previously used passwords

  • Recommended Online Banking customers change their passwords every 90 days.

Some internet browsers may save user names and passwords. This will automatically complete any login for you and may allow people at your computer to use your logins without knowing your passwords. For your security, please review your internet browser's "Help" section, or contact their Customer Support, to see if this option is available and how to turn it off.
